MDL AUTOS is solely owned and run by myself Mark Belcher. The company has been established since 1987. I have spent my working career on motor vehicles and I am a fully skilled Motor Vehicle Technician with City and Guilds and National Craftsman qualifications having worked in several main dealers and independent garages before starting my own business.
I have always believed in running a honest and reliable service at very competitive prices, and trust is something that is very rare within the motor trade. I have built my business up through trust with my customers and maintain every car as if it were my own. That means only replacing parts when they need replacing and advising and assuring that the maintenance is being carried out correctly. I also offer free collection and delivery within the local area.
I also have a passion for working on and building custom vehicles and street rods from small repairs to full builds. I own a 1936 Chrysler Kew 6 Street Rod, please see the custom cars section for more info.
What we can offer…
SERVICING
I service all makes of vehicles and small vans either to manufacturer's service schedules or standard interim or major service plans which can be adapted to the customer's requirements.
Obviously different service plans for different vehicles all vary in price please contact me for a no obligation comprehensive quote
Repairs carried out to all makes of vehicles and vans, from full engine rebuilds, to just changing a blown bulb.
Standard hourly labour charge is £48.00. Most jobs can be quoted with an accurate estimate so you know exactly how much you will pay without any nasty surprises when settling the invoice.
REPAIRS
MOT
I offer a service of preparing your vehicle for a MOT. The vehicle is inspected, just as a MOT tester would. Any faults are then reported and repaired if required and the vehicle is then put through its MOT, resulting with a Pass Certificate.
Charge for inspection and putting through MOT Test £50.00 plus cost of MOT.
WELDING
I offer welding services to cars and vans. Anything from replacement panels to welding floor pans, chassis, sill sections, etc.
I can also weld most other items such as gates, steel garden furniture, bikes etc.
